Warren Spencer Wood was born December 1, 1943, in Salt Lake City, UT to Voyle Wilmer Wood and Dorothy Alice Hufford Wood. His brother is Barry Wood ('66), and his sister is Nita Wood Timm ('70).

He was killed in an automobile accident on Snoqualmie Pass on November 19, 1965, at the age of 21.

Warren graduated with the Class of 1962 from Richland's Columbia High School and attended the University of California at Berkley.

He is buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland.
