Paul Herbert West was born on November 8, 1944, in Memphis, TN to Paul and Aileene West.

He graduated with the Class of 1962 from Richland's Columbia High School.

Paul passed away on June 24, 1997, in Richland at the age of 52 and was buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
