Genell Sullivan

Genell Irene Sullivan was born in Richland on September 2, 1944, to Irene (Walker) and Daniel Willis Sullivan. She passed away on February 17, 1963, at the age of 18.

She graduated with the Class of 1962 from Richland's Columbia High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

"Funeral services are pending at Einan's Desert Memorial Chapel for Genell Irene Sullivan, 18, of Richland who died in Salt Lake City, UT.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel W. Sullivan of Richland; three sisters: Colleen ('57) and Dana ('71) of Richland, and Fay Sullivan Liechty ('60) of Tempe, AZ; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan F. Sullivan of Payson, UT."

"Genell Sullivan, 18, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan F. Sullivan of Payson, UT died suddenly in Salt Lake City of a blood clot of the heart. Miss Sullivan had complained of a 'charlie horse' in her leg the day previous.

She was employed as a secretary at Bonanza Airlines in Salt Lake City.

Surviving besides her grandparents are her parents and three sisters all of Richland."

Interment was at Desert Lawn Memorial park in Kennewick.

Her mother passed away at the age of 77 on October 24, 1996.

Her dad passed away at the age of 88 on January 8, 2000.

Her sister, Fay ('60) passed away on July 22, 2014, in Scottsdale, AZ at the age of 71.

Her brother-in-law, DeVaun Jay Liechty Sr ('60) , passed away at the age of 76 on October 16, 2019, in Scottscale, AZ.

Her nephew, DeVaun Jay Liechty Jr, passed away August 19, 2015, at the age of 51 in Mesa, AZ.
