Donald Lee Skidmore, 66, of Lakeland, FL died at home June 9, 2011, due to cancer.

He was born September 14, 1944, in Parkersburg, WV.

Don attended Spalding Grade School and graduated from Richland's Columbia High School with the Class of 1962.

Donald is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cathy Skidmore, Lakeland; sons: Donald G. Skidmore of Highland City and William Skidmore of Barnesville, GA; daughter, Arlene Sloat of Kathleen, GA; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Larry Skidmore of Sevierville, TN; and sister, Marlene Gilliam of Wildorado, TX.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Skidmore.
