PAUL MARTIN PEDERSEN ~ Class of 1962
October 16, 1944 - January 16, 2021

Paul Martin Pedersen, 76, of Cathlamet, WA died at the Hospice Care Center in Longview on January 16, 2021. He was born October 16, 1944 in Pasco to William and Ruby (Fleury) Pedersen. He was raised in Richland, graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1962 and entered the U. S. Air Force in 1963.

On September 3, 1966 he married Pamela Boness ('63), and they raised their two children in Eastern Washington.

Paul worked for the Department of Fish and Wildlife as a fish culturist for 26 years. In 1999 Paul retired, and they moved to Cathlamet in 2002.

Paul and Pam enjoyed family and travel together spending winters in Yuma, AZ. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He and Pam joined Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church on Puget Island where Paul loved his church family.

Survivors include wife, Pam; daughter, Kristin Pedersen; son, Paul “Eric” Pedersen; three brothers; a sister; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a family celebration of Paul's life in the summer. Those wishing to remember Paul may donate in his name to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church or Community Home Health and Hospice; P.O. Box 2047; Longview, WA 98632.
