VIOLET KAY MILANDER MOODY ~ Class of 1962

Violet Kay Milander was born on March 27, 1944, in Denver, CO. She passed away at the age of 68 in Lake Stevens, WA on August 12, 2012.

When she and her twin sister, Viola ('62), were 13 they were adopted by their aunt and uncle, Verna and Harold Neptune, who lived in Richland.

Violet graduated with the Class of 1962 from Richland's Columbia High School.

She married Tye Moody on July 30, 1962, and they divorced in 1975.

Violet is survived by her twin sister, Viola Gonglieswki ('62); her adopted siblings: Loretta Neptune Brown ('57 honorary) , Laurel Neptune Surplus ('64) and Don Neptune ('69); and her three children.

NOTE:

Verna Neptune passed away October 1, 1990.

Harold Neptune passed away December 5, 1991.

Phyllis Neptune Stieben ('55 honorary) passed away February 7, 2008.

Nina Neptune Bougher ('53), passed away August 11, 2016.

Dean Neptune ('61), passed away November 28, 2017.

Loretta Neptune Brown ('57 honorary), passed away June 20, 2023.
