Charlene, 72, of Richland passed away at home with the love of her life by her side on April 28, 2016, after a brief battle with cancer. She is no longer in pain.

She was born January 4, 1944, in Newport, Oregon, and moved to Richland in 1945. She married Ron Wilson after graduating from Richland's Columbia High in 1962. They had two wonderful children. Char was a beautician for 49 years and owned Nu-Look Hairstyling. She retired with her best friend, Patsy Loman Podesek ('62), while working at Lively Look.

After being single for many years she began dating her life-long friend and soul mate, Gary Webb ('64), in 2003. They were married on April 19, 2013.

Charlene was a great friend to many in our community. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, whether it was a special gift for a friend or a Halloween costume for her grandchildren. Char loved reading, trying out new recipes and road trips with her husband, Gary. She was always happiest when surrounded by her family and loved ones. Charlene was selfless and kind with a heart of gold. Many times she would go without so others didn’t have to. She would do whatever it would take to make sure that her family and friends knew they were loved and cared for.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jake Goodenow; and by her mother, Rosemary Goodenow.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Webb ('64); daughter, Ronda Muller (Eric); son, Shawn Wilson (Kathy); siblings: Jan Goodenow Greenough ('66), Patti Goodenow Underwood ('67), Ken Goodenow ('71) and Larry Goodenow ('75); sister-in-law, Bonnie Webb Roe ('59); stepsons, Denny Webb and Joey Webb; and her step-grandchildren: Jason, Easton, Landon, Riley, and Lillie; and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life was held June 4, 2016.

We would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Sahota and staff for their compassion and support in her time of need.
