Ronald LeRoy Gilmour, 69, of Richland died on April 13, 2013, at Life Care Center in Kennewick. He was born on October 16, 1943, in Spokane to parents George and Dorothy (Flynn) Gilmour. His wife Margaret, who he married June 19, 1964, preceded him in death. Working as an automobile salesman and cook, he lived in the Tri-City area for 24 years.

Ron attended Spalding Grade School, Carmichael Junior High and was with the Class of 1962 at Richland's Columbia High School.

He served his country in the U. S. Navy.

Ronald enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family.

Ronald is survived by his son, Gary (Angie) Gilmour, Kennewick; daughter, Tammy (Joel) Julson, Kennewick; grandchildren: Travis Grego, Hunter Gilmour, Sarah (Alex) Flint, Shelby Julson and Ann Julson; great-grandchild, Lennox Flint; and brothers, Jerry Gilmour ('54 Honorary) and Gary Gilmour ('63 Honorary).

In addition to his wife Margaret, he was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ray Gilmour ('53) , who passed away on October 1, 1995; and sister, Barbara Gilmour DeMeritt ('56) , who passed away on April 24, 1979.

A memorial service was held on April 20, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Pasco Nazarene Church, 7305 W. Court Street, Pasco. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for a memorial plaque to be sent to Tammy Julson, 2114 N. Oklahoma Ct., Kennewick, WA 99336.

Hillcrest Memorial Center was in charge of arrangements.
