Arlene Davis Steinauer, age 59, a resident of Spokane and a receptionist-secretary in the emergency room at Holy Family Hospital passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2003.

In 1962, Arlene graduated from Richland's Columbia High School.

Mrs. Steinauer was born in Walla Walla on May 19, 1944, to Ace and Merle Davis.

She has been a resident of Spokane since 1985, formerly of Walla Walla.

She was the loving mother of Brett Steinauer and Ryan Steinauer of Spokane, Noelle Jamieson of Clayton, WA and Rachel Davidson of SaltLake, UT.

Her father is Ace Davis of Richland. Her brothers are Donald Davis and Alan Davis of Richland.

She enjoyed three grandchildren.

Arlene was divorced from Gerald I. Steinauer.

She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, attending the Northpointe Ward.

Funeral services honoring Mrs. Steinauer were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2003, in Spokane at the Spokane North Stake, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, West 401 Regin Avenue directed by the Lauer Funeral Home in Deer Park, WA with Bishop Larry Larson conducting.

Inurnment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2003.
