Barry was born on April 19, 1943, in Petersburg, AL to Roy Oswald Dahl and Florence Sylvia Johnson Dahl. He passed away at the age of 75 on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, in Lewis and Clark, MT. Cause of death was a Malignant Neoplasm of his tongue.

Barry graduated with the Class of 1962 from Richland's Columbia High School. He served in the U. S. Force. Barry had received his Bachelor's Degree.

He was a resident of Helena, MT at the time of his passing.

Barry was divorced from Bonnie Lou Leir.

He is survived by his brother, Wayne Zimmerman ('75).

He is preceded in death by his brother, Brian John Dahl ('59), who passed away on June 29, 2013; and his brother, Charlie Zimmerman ('77), who passed away June 5, 1982.

Big Sky Cremations & Funeral Service in East Helena, MT was in charge of the arrangements.

Inurnment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
