SHARON PRISCILLA CECIL ARMSTRONG ~ Class of 1962
October 2, 1944 - August 13, 2024

Sharon Priscilla Armstrong, 79, of Richland passed away on August 13, 2024.
Sharon was born to Richard Cecil Sr. and Betty Sams on October 2, 1944 in Walla Walla, Washington. Her family moved to the Tri-Cities area shortly after her birth.
She graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1962 and continued her education at Tri-City Business College.
She married John Armstrong in 1963, and they raised three children.
In 1975, Sharon started working for the Richland School District as a Bus Driver. She loved driving students of all grades, whether it was to and from school, field trips, or sporting events. She enjoyed watching them grow throughout the years. She was promoted to an Operations Manager until she retired in 2002. She took pride in everything she did throughout her life.
Sharon leaves behind her daughters; Vicky Armstrong, Denise Brown (Mike), and Kathy Armstrong. She also leaves behind her siblings: Willis Lindholm, Diane Roberts; Richard Cecil Jr., and Micky Cecil; her grandchildren: Bryant, Jared, Jamie, Sydney, Nick, Brandon, and Taylar; great grandchildren: Carsyn, Abigail, Jackson, and Krue; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Richard Cecil Sr., Betty Lindholm, and Ann Simmons; her sisters, Sandy Sanders and Karen Lindholm; daughter-in-law, Susan Stilwill; and best friend, Carol Wyant.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 am at Einan’s Event Center at Sunset Gardens, 915 Bypass Highway, in Richland.
